The Fried Fox Defence arises after 1.e4 f6 2.d4 Kf7. ECO code: B00.

One of the most bizarre openings in chess—Black voluntarily moves the king to f7, forfeiting castling rights. After the already dubious 1...f6, this second move compounds Black's problems. White obtains an overwhelming advantage with any natural developing move. The opening exists purely as a curiosity.
