Pick a mode: Find the Square names a coordinate and you click that square on a board with no coordinate labels, while Name the Square highlights a square and you choose its name. You have 45 seconds to answer as many as possible, and you can train from the White or Black point of view, with or without pieces on the board.

Every chess book, video and annotated game refers to squares by name. If you can find e4 or c6 without counting files and ranks, you absorb chess material faster and spot tactics sooner - especially when playing as Black, where the board is reversed.
