I'm a thirtysomething (as of 2006) engineer. I learnt chess from my father at the ripe age of 7 or 8 but never had any training on openings and strategies. I just learnt by playing with other amateurs like myslelf. I haven't played for many years when my friend invited me to play here and I got hooked again. I also play on playchess.com.
I don't like loosing, but got used to it. :-)
