I play for Boldmere, Kynoch and Sutton Coldfield chess clubs in the Birmingham area. I have also represented Warwickshire in the 2009-2010 county chess championship.

I started playing chess on July 2008 and wish to pursue the game further to hopefully reach the Expert level of play.

If you like to chat between moves, please leave me a message as I like to socialise with my opponents...nice to make new friends in chess. :-)

Note to all players: I will be using opening books/databases during any games (that is the point of correspondance chess after all - research!) but once I am out of book, I am on my own - No engine use, no use of tablebases for the endgame.

I will be claiming timeouts unless I'm aware of a reason not to do so, so please stay within the agreed time limits. Likewise, if I exceed my time for whatever reason, please do the right thing and claim the game on time forfeit :-)
