\nIf we don’t see as one, the world is wrong
\nBeyond the wars and the hate and the insanity
\nWe are all connected as humanity
\nWe are the child with cancer who still wears a smile
\nWe are the kid from the projects facing trial
\nWe are the pregnant teen feeling lost and used
\nWe are the elderly man in a home abused
\nWe are the young couple, marriage on the rocks
\nWe are the homeless ones in a cardboard box
\nWe are the cold and hungry, sad and depressed
\nWe are the lonely child who never felt blessed
\nWe are the woman whose life was filled with pain
\nWe are the man standing alone in the pouring rain
\nWe are the child who struggles day to day
\nWe are the teenage girl who ran away
\nWe are the soldier killed in an unjust war
\nWe are the young man who can dream no more
\nWe are the inmate locked away for life
\nWe are the old man who has lost his wife
\nWe would be better off without our vanity
\nAnd have a sense of belonging to humanity.
\nMay you ALWAYS charter a course through life carried aloft by the tides and forces of goodness, while the winds and bumps of evil huff and puff in the opposite direction!
