David, from High Wycombe, UK, near London. ("dm "is just my initials.)
My rating varies wildly, depending how many games I take on, and how many seconds (or minutes) I decide to spend on each move. Twenty seconds a move is about the fastest that I can keep up. Recently I took on lots of games just for the practice and my rating plummeted, (although I did achieve the coveted red star and on 31 October 2020 I managed second place in the "Most Active Player of the Month" list with 19,245 moves). Now hoping to restore a better work/life/chess balance, and a more respectable rating!
I really don't care about Skulls/timeouts one way or the other! They're just necessary for tidying up sometimes.
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
Rated stats are updated within 24 hours of the last completed rated game.
