I'm a scientist, 40 years young, married, currently living in Germany, but probably I will move to Canada soon. I have no experiences with chessclubs or official tournaments, so I do not have a FIDE rating; although I think I would be strong enough to kick some butts (I won the first 3D-chess variant world championship in 1998 and write a book on the science of chess).
I do not use engines to make my moves and hope you do not the same. It's not fun to win by using another 'brain'.
