Hey, I'm Nathan from Southern Illinois (United States). I have played chess off and on since I was a kid but never really got serious about it. I enjoy the game but don't take it too seriously.

I also enjoy blitz (5/0 preferred) and play on chess.com. If you play there let me know and we can set up a time to play. My username on chess.com is also iChesssy .

I rarely consult books (only own 3 chess books). I will put the position on my board if it requires extra thought. My preferred first move as white is e4 and as black I always play the Scandinavian against e4 . If you play d4 you'll likely get some version of the KID.

I will NEVER consult a computer or program during a game-it is cheating. Please don't do so yourself. I know I can't beat computers. They never make mistakes. I rely on your human mistakes to beat you!
