I have worked as an Investment advisor and Stockbroker for 17 years and for the past 6 as an Institutional trader in Equities and Derivative contracts. Lived in Centennial, Colorado for the past 6 years, but have left the trading business and moved back to Seattle to spend more time with my family. Currently not working; considering another career, but will make that decision later, so for now I am taking it easy.
I have played chess since age 10, but formally started studying under an International Master in 1994-1995, when I started studying the game vs. just playing it. Recently, I have been fortunate to have joined a clan with some of my favorite players and friends, The Kings Clan. I highly recommend that if you get the chance to play some of these players, then take it. Right now I have way too many games going, so I will not be taking new games on until I get my total game count to under 20. I'm only good if I can take my time, but I will look forward to playing all and any players, thereafter. You lower rated players (notice I didn't say, "lessor players", as we are all growing in our games, and time and work are the greatest factors to how good we all ultimately become) will be most welcome, as I learn from you as well.
While it's hard to share my favorite and worst games, I do have favorite RHP players that you'll find in the Kings Clan with the exception of "GoAheadBringItOn (GABIO)" and Kings and Pawns (Stu is retired from playing us in chess right now, maybe later 🙂 ), whom I dearly miss. GABIO may be one of the very best I've ever played, and a very nice chap, and while he's quite busy right now, do not miss the chance to play him if you're bold enough.
Well, I think that gives you a bit of info about me and my friends. Hope your chess satisfies you.
