Bio
I was born in Alnwick, on the borders of Scotland and then grew up in Camden Town in Central London.
After leaving school I worked in the photographic industry and after nine years in photography I started to work as an illustrator for the home improvement industry where I benifited from learning graphic design and using pen and ink, water colour and gouache.
I decided one day to open my own art gallery and specialize in original contemporary art. In 2006 I began to teach art by giving private art lessons to adults in small groups and I now balance my time between teaching and painting. I now run a number of life drawing classes and oil painting courses at London venues and also from his artist studio. My website is

My paintings can be found in private collections in America, Australia and the UK.
Art is my life and chess is my favorite board game. Other interests include playing guitar, sailing, cycling and beach or hill walking.
Have just moved to Bournemouth where every day is now a holiday.
