I’ve been playing Chess for quite a few years and finally starting to get a bit better! Other interests include films, pubs and all the usual. I work in NHS admin for the day job.

In the pic I am the one with the black hair and pint of beer, looking more interested in the game going on next to me - the guy with his back to the camera is GM Danny Gormally, he is giving a Simul at Leeds Chess Club - he crushed me unfortunately. But a few months later I was able to beat FIDE Master Charlie Story, which is probably my best win to date 🙂
