Interests besides chess: Photography, Backgammon, card games (poker and gin rummy) and collecting chess sets. I've even designed and manufactured a chess set in aluminum and brass. I also like to read alot, and I can listen to almost any kind of music, and I sing in the church choir.

I prefer to play with a 3 day timeout, and I generally move every other day. I tend to speed up so long as we're in book, or if the situation appears forced.
