I don't know why he thought for so long here.
I was not playing good for I never play good at blitz.
I played to a draw on another blitz game where i missed a winning move.
1.d4 f5 2.Bg5 c5 {Preparing a queen move to give the king d8} 3.d5 h6 4.Bh4 g5 {The trapper is trapped. 4. ... Qa5+ may also work.} 5.e3 Qa5+ {The bishop falls ... even after} 6.b4 Qxb4+ 7.c3 Qxh4
Interesting game. Since I have returned to OTB play I have been caught in some opening traps because I do not remember my openings that I once memorized. Here I can just look them up and follow a line that I think looks good. Except on blitz. Not enough time to be looking up openings.
I would not have gotten in that first trap anyway, since I usually try to develop at least one knight first before any other piece. I still do not know what happened to my opponent on my blitz game, because it seems like he was satisfied with being a pawn up and quit playing with over 4 minutes left on the clock. I just kept waiting and waiting until his clock went to zero. I was not given a win though, so he might have gotten disconnected from the internet. This was only my second blitz game so I am not sure how it works.
"The most interesting man in the world" wins chess matches by simply psyching out his opponents with his glorious presence so badly they can't make a single move.

3 Minute Game / Unrated
This one was played around 6 AM after an all nighter, so forgive the minor errors by me.
That was great. I even liked the start idea for the Sicilian defense that sort of turned into something looking like a delayed Alekhine defense. I don't think I would have a chance against you a 3-minute blitz for you are just to tricky with your traps. I would have fell right in to that trap for sure just like I do in my OTB games.

Thanks
Sometimes, I pull off a good one. Other times, I'll make silly mistakes too.
Like they say, "Some days chicken ... some days feathers". 🙂
You really got him in a bind after he overlooked your knight fork. It looks like things just went from bad to worse and he couldn't do anything right to stop it. He needed a couple traps and tricks up his sleeve, but was unable to conjure them up.
