      A good practical shot, if probably unsound given best defence. Black will draw out the White King and his pieces are better coordinated.

        Clearing lines for bigger pieces. I also contemplated ...e4 but thought this was more promising by opening the centre further.

          Black still has nothing very concrete...
          • 15. Nf3xd4
            ...but removing the defenders of his King is short sighted.
            • 15... Bd6g3 16. Kf2g1 Qc7f4
              Threatening both Qf2# and Qe3+
