My first completed correspondence game and a good win for me.
1. e4 Nb8c6
!? The Nimzowich Defence.Black invites White to occupy the centre of the board at an early stage with pawns. Black's intent is to block or otherwise restrain White's central pawns and, if allowed to do so by inaccurate play by White, eventually undermine the White pawn centre by well-timed pawn advances of his own or by attacking the White pieces defending the centre.
2. d4
I occupy the center with pawns.
2... e5 3. d5 Nc6d4
?? Already a blunder. Nce7 or Nb81? was better.
4. c3
! Of Course not very difficult to see.
4... Qd8h4
The best chance I guess
5. cxd4
5: Qd3 can also be considered but I think what I played is also safe
Since I am piece up I am offering an exchange of queens.Further I am attacking the bishop on b4, Pawn on g7 and Queen on d5
9... Bb4xc3 10. bxc3 Ng8f6 11. Ne2f4
!? c4 is also playable but this move frees up my position and controls d5
11... Qd5xd4
If 11.. Qc6 then 12 Bc4!? (Knight on f4 protects g2) and now if a) 13 g5?? then 14 Nd5! (The Queen on d4 is X-raying the rook on h8) b) 13.. d6 then simple 0-0 and white should be winning as he is a piece ip
12. cxd4 d5
I guess black is trying to get hold of a square on e4 for his knight. I think black can castle and threaten Re8 which is a much better chance. But a piece is a piece.
