Trying a new maneuvre by bringing my queen-side Knight to the king side
8... h6 9. Nc3e2 e5 10. Ne2g3 Qd8f6
?! Not quite sure what Black's idea behind the Queen move was. It takes away the f6 square from the Knight and the Queen becomes a target.
11. h3
Preventing Bg4 and preparing a way for the Knight to go h3-g4
11... Bc8e6 12. Bc4b5 Be6d7 13. Nf3h2 g6 14. f4
! Opening the f-file would be a real threat and almost force Black to castle long - which is a bad plan as well because of all the open files.
14... Qf6e6 15. f5
! Increasing the pressure
15... Qe6f6 16. Nh2g4
Knight coming in, with the threat of f6 unstoppable now.
16... Qf6g7
? Qd8 isn't very attractive either, but now the Queen locks herself up, never to come back in the game again. The Rook is doomed to stay on h8 as well. That's quite some compensation for the two sacked pawns.
