I didnt want to play the Petroff.

I dont know any theory here but snapping the pawn here looked fine
4... Qd8e7 5. Ne5f3
d4 was not of my taste
5... Bb4xc3
?! Ne4 was preferable. Then maybe white can play either 6 Ne4 Qe4 7 Be2 with a very slight advantage. or the simple 6 Be2 with a slight advantage

Now white has an harmonious position as his pieces can move freely
6... Qe7xe4 7. Bf1e2 O-O 8. O-O d6
d5 was a lot better
9. Bc1g5 Nf6d7
? Nbd7 was better
10. Be2d3
! All white pieces direct itself towards the black king with tempo
