not a fan of this. Black is opening up the diagonal to his king's kingside castle position. He blocks one of the g knight's devleoping moves.
3. Bf1c4
And I'm not sure about this because I haven't had this position before. The bishop is aimed where black might want to castle.
3... Bf8c5 4. O-O d6 5. Nb1c3 Bc8g4 6. Nc3d5
would be better to develop another piece. d3 protects c4 and enables the black squared bishop to jump to e3 if necessary.
6... Ng8e7 7. Qd1e2 Nb8c6 8. c3
Doesn't help develop the bishop on C1, and removes an escape for d5. However this does inhibit blacks C knight from moving to d4. 7. Qe2 is looking to have overloaded the queen, and now white must be defensive.
? drops the bishop. does qg7+ work here? (Followed by qf7, rxe6+) Not sure. QE2 is certainly not white's best play.
30... Rc8xc7 31. Qe2xe6
? now white trades queen and rook for queen and bishop. White has also abandoned a strong attack.
31... Qf5xe6 32. Re1xe6 Ke7xe6 33. g3
? when your opponent only has one bishop, move your pawns to the opposite color of the bishop. If all of your pieces are on the opposite color the bishop hardly exists.
