Something that has always puzzled me - forgive me for asking but I have some confusion. Please understand DG this isn’t an attack.

So I take divegeester to be a Christian in principal but not a total believer in the bible - have I got that right ? If so (in order to understand you) what part of the bible do you believe in (if any) and how do you validate that above those parts that you don’t believe in ?

I think that you say a lot of cry interesting things, but without understanding that bit about you it’s difficult to respond appropriately to some of the points that you raise ?

    @chaney3

You need to read from verse one. It's the difference between doing as your told and not.

By the same principle that holding a grudge harms the holder.

The burden in both cases, is held by the offended, the disgruntled person in the scenario.

Therefore to forgive even without that forgiveness being requested, will always benefit the forgiver.

    Thoughts?
    Very sensible line of thought.

If one harbours a grudge it often eats at the person who won't forgive to their own detriment maybe loss of sleep etc subject to the severity of the problem.

I’m not sure, you’ll have to ask him.

But to my point; there is nothing in the bible which supports the assertion that God doesn’t interfere with free will.
We now get into the realms of what’s defined as free will. There are plenty of instances where God allows certain thoughts to occur in peoples hearts. One could argue that this is interfering with free will. It only seems to be done in accordance with a Devine purpose.

Again it is written that people are called to the faith.

You clearly do get free will and choices, but sometimes you get heavily nudged eg Jonah.

If there are more than two genders, why do we have only two gender sports? If we accept transgender as just as valid? Why not have men, women, and transgender sports?
I had a good friend who started as a hermaphrodite and chose a female identity (therefore feminine). I have no axe to grind.

I like your idea KJ as it removes controversy and actually could lead to a wider acceptance of those caught in this dilemma, which causes such anguish for those trapped in the wrong body .

Those born in a male body engaging in female sports usually have a clear advantage because of size and strength, which is a point that Caitlin Jenner (bless her) makes.

I asked what you are doing to help save your non Christian family, friends and neighbours from being burnt alive forever by your version of the loving Jesus?
What part of the bible, or whatever document you are referencing, is it written that Christ burns people alive?
