Playing chess should be a metaphor for life. Unfortunately, instead of crafting our opponents pieces away, we opt to bludgeon. Leaders should consider chess as a way of resolving disputes - it would be bloodless and considerably more satisfying.
Aside from chess, I enjoy film, reading, the English language and history. I am completely disillusioned by politics and politicians - self-seekers and liars without the will to change society. Green policies are close to my core philosophy, not only saving the environment but creating a fair society that places social justice and equality uppermost. I enjoy conversation during games, so please engage.
