I tend to be a silent player. This isn't meant as an insult when I seem to ignore an in-game message, I just don't like turning thinking games into talking games. I don't mind losing, since I only play for fun, but I hate losing QUICKLY. Games that are over before I have a chance to think make me sad. I prefer to play against other casual players, or at least somebody who enjoys a lengthy game as much as I do. (This doesn't mean I won't take an opening if I see it, though!)
