I'm in California, and have been out of the chess world for some time.
My code of rhp ethics: 1) I will never use a computer to advise my moves, 2) I will not refer to other current or recorded games to advise my moves in an ongoing game, 3) I will not use textbooks to advise my moves in an ongoing game.
I hope you will do the same. If you don't, then I will become a better player anyway, and will know that my rating truly reflects my ability.
