My dad taught me chess basics when I was about 13. It was popular then in NY and New England (Fischer, Reshevsky, Bisguier&hellip😉. As an adult, I played occasionally, just against family and friends. Since retirement, I got “schooled” by my brother-in-law, and the Chess Tiger Pro phone app trainer. I like to chat during games.
