I came late in life to playing chess. I will never overcome the handicap of that late start, but my goal is merely to suck just a little bit less, each and every day. My playing is along the lines of 1 step forward and 9/10 of a step back. I do love the game. It's both beautiful and perfect. Thankfully I have to be neither!
