The wagon's gone. Been gone fur a long time...and I been walking fur a week in these ole shoes and now I just need to sit down for a spell and set my mind on something else...Durnit! The sun is hot and I be durn if I can find me some shade. I need shade...even with this ole hat...it's hot. The sound of the river in my one good ear...but I cannot seem to get to it. I'm fixin to get to the river...sit me down...and feel the cool air. I will not go back to that town...all the time fightin'.
