Bio
I am Brent Inman, from Mobile, Alabama. As I write this, my USCF rating is at my floor of 2000. It turns out that getting older DOES make you worse! I have been the Alabama State Co-champion three times (1996, 2006, 2008) and tied with another Alabama player, Daniel Miller, for first place in Louisiana's 1992 state championship. In 2008 I also won the Louisiana G/30 championship. The title went to the highest-scoring Louisiana resident, but I still claim it as mine. In 2019, I won clear first place at the Alabama Senior Chess Championship.
Also, not to brag (because I'm very humble!), I am in the Alabama Chess Hall of Fame AND, even cooler, I am one of eight players given in Scott Varagona's fantastic Alabama chess history book, "Kings of My Home State" about the best chess players in Alabama in the 20th century.
So yeah, I'm kind of a big deal.
If you beat me, I'll take it like a man and move on with my life. Cheers!
