✓Accepting games from rated 1000 to 1250*

Until about a month ago, I played chess like draughts - I just attacked and attacked. The true complexity of chess was beaten into me, well and truly, when I got drunk, challenged a 2000+ to a game, and lost. In three moves. After weeks of studying the game, I re-challenged the same opponent, and drew by stalemate, after a Maximus Decimus (taking all the pieces except the king). Now I am likely to accept any challenge with relative confidence.
*Update* I have recently beaten the said 2000+!!
