Love playing chess. Prior member in the U.S.C.F. (C rated player) Have not been member or played in rated OTB tournaments in the last 15 years. Around 1996 U.S.C.F had their Midwest Team Chess Tournament at University of Chicago. I thought of the name “Magicalmates” for our four man chess team. We just did OK in play over the board, it was a tough tournament. On the other hand we won first place for best team name, magicalmates. Ever since then magicalmates has been my handle on the Internet Chess Club and later on Red Hot Pawn. Love playing chess. Have a good game.
