I got into playing chess as a small child then stopped as i wasn't any good, then started again just in time to play at Uni and got better, then stopped for ages and got rusty, then I found this site and started playing again and will hopefully get better.
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
Rated stats are updated within 24 hours of the last completed rated game.
