For example the M1 Abrams tank engine at Lycoming Turbine Engine Division in the Stratford, CT Army Engine Plant. The Hubble Space Telescope primary mirror at the Perkin-Elmer facility in Danbury in the early 1980s. Jet Engines; at both Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, and General Electric Aircraft Engines.
