I'm a 66 year old retired educator. Originally from New Jersey, I now live in Houston, Tx. I'm married (42 yrs., same woman). Began playing chess when I was 13. Started email chess in 2004. I've read a few chess books. I consider my self a positional player, working to improve my opening. My hobbies are painting, coaching (T&F) and chess. I welcome all challenges provided they are maximum 3 days per move, or less. Be warned I claim time out wins.
