Greetings from Minneapolis, USA! I am an OTB player as well. I am using this site for my training games. If you are an OTB player, I am curious to get to know you by name, and I hope we meet someday. I took last place in a tournament once upon a time, so my friend calls me tournament Punching Bag, PB for short. I've grown to like it after all these years.
As this is my training ground for OTB chess, I avoid using reference material of any kind while my game is in progress, but hopefully, after the game, I do my analysis, but even this seems to be a rarity. Enjoy and good luck!
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
