I've been playing chess for a while. In 1972 the hype around the Fischer/Spassky challenge allowed a friend and myself to start a chess club at high school. I was a big fan of Bobby Fischer and the way he played the game.
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
