My Mum tells me I was born in the UK. I don't remember it and am rarely there due to work and travel these days. I got into playing chess on this site after the recommendation of a friend in Chile when I was teaching English there in 2008. I didn't take it seriously and thought I would play him once and then unsubscribe. Little did I know I would get better at the game and then beat him every time🙂 That plus discovering the game is about skill as opposed to luck (like poker) now makes chess my no.1 game. I love it and love improving at it. I generally make 2 or 3 moves a day if I'm not on the road. Feel free to chat to me as I like to talk🙂
