The icon, from Egyptian mythology, is the weighing of the heart.
At the end of life, the heart is weighed on the scales against a feather.
The symbol of the feather is called ma-at. (truth)
If the scales balance, the deceased gets to go on to a pleasant afterlife.
If the scales do not balance, then the deceased is thrown to the 3 headed dog from hell Cerberus, and then torn to pieces.
So much for Egyptian mythology, yet, it seems a good idea to have a light heart, not one burdened by sin and guilt...
My question for any who read my profile...
Is life merely accidents or coincidence, or is life filled with synchronicity?
