What is Bishop?
Chess Terms : Bishop Explained
A Bishop is a piece in the game of chess that represents a medieval bishop's office. It moves at an angle and can move any number of squares diagonally. Each player starts the game with two bishops; one moving on white squares and the other on black squares. Due to its diagonal movement, a Bishop is limited to half the squares on the board. See Moving the bishop.
