What is Bronstein Delay?
Chess Terms : Bronstein Delay Explained
Bronstein Delay is a time control method in chess where an increment of time is added after each move, but unlike the standard increment system, the increment is added only after a player completes a move within the base time. The delay refers to a set amount of time that the clock waits before it starts to decrease the player's remaining time. It is named after the Latvian chess Grandmaster David Bronstein.
