What is Castling Rights?
Chess Terms : Castling Rights Explained
Castling Rights refers to a player's ability to castle during a game of chess. This is dependent on certain conditions: Neither the king nor the rook involved has previously moved, there are no pieces between the king and the rook, and the king is not currently in check or would not pass through or move to a square that is under attack by an enemy piece. If all these conditions are met, a player maintains their castling rights. However, if any of these conditions are not met, the player loses their castling rights.
