Centipawn

A centipawn is a unit of measurement equal to one-hundredth of a pawn's value, used by chess engines to express positional evaluations. A centipawn advantage of +100 means the engine assesses the position as being approximately one pawn better for White. Human players rarely think in centipawns, but the unit has become standard in computer-assisted analysis.
