What is Discovered Attack?

A Discovered Attack is a chess tactic that occurs when a piece moves and uncovers an attack by another piece. It can be particularly powerful because the moved piece can make a threat independently of the piece it reveals. Essentially, it is an attack that is revealed by the moving of another piece on the board.
