What is Long Castling?
Chess Terms : Long Castling Explained
Long Castling, also known as queenside castling, is a move in chess that involves the player's king and one rook. In this move, the king is transferred from its original square two squares towards the rook on the player's left side, while the rook moves to the square the king passed over. This is typically denoted as 0-0-0 in algebraic notation. Long castling results in the king shifting towards the queenside of the board.
