What is Overextended?
Chess Terms : Overextended Explained
Overextended refers to a situation in chess where a player's pawns are advanced too far, leaving them vulnerable and difficult to defend. This usually happens when a player aggressively pushes their pawns forward in an attempt to control or pressure the board, but consequently stretches their defences thin, resulting in the potential for their opponent to exploit these weaknesses.
