What is Pawn And Move?

A pawn is a piece that has the lowest value and can only move forward, typically one square at a time. Its initial move can be of two squares forward. It captures other pieces in a forward diagonal direction. It can also be promoted to any other piece (except a king) if it reaches the opponent's end of the board.

A move, in a game of chess, is a player's action to position a piece from one square to another on the chessboard, according to the rules of the game. Each participant is given a turn to make a move, with white traditionally going first. The game advances with each move and the round only ends when a checkmate, stalemate, draw, or resignation happens.
