Perpetual Check

Perpetual check is a situation in chess where one player can continually place the opponent's king in check, resulting in a draw. Any attempt by the opponent to escape the cycle of checks would involve making a move that places their king in a position of immediate check. This sequence of checks is repeated indefinitely and neither player can make a move that breaks the pattern, thus leading to a stalemate or draw.
