Protected Passed Pawn

A Protected Passed Pawn in chess refers to a passed pawn (a pawn with no opponent's pawns to prevent it from advancing to the next square on its file, or on either adjacent file) that is defended by another pawn. This protection creates an advantage as it's able to advance freely without risking capture.
