Simultaneous Chess

Simultaneous Chess is a type of chess exhibition in which one player, commonly of high rank such as a Grandmaster, plays multiple games at once against a number of other players. This is often carried out by moving around a row of chess boards and making a move on each in turn. The games are traditionally not rated, given the extreme time and attention disadvantage experienced by the single player, and the multiple opponents benefit from seeing how the single player approaches different positions.
