Troitsky Line

The Troitsky line is a theoretical boundary in the endgame of two knights versus a pawn. If the defending pawn has not crossed the Troitsky line, the two knights can force checkmate. Named after Russian endgame analyst Alexei Troitsky (1866–1942).
