Important Announcement !! Thumbs up or Thumbs down

If you believe Carrobie and his pals VESPIN and McTayo are doing the right thing by destroying the clan system then give this post a thumbs down.

If however you believe it's time for Russ and the other administrators on this site to act and suspend the clans of carrobie, VESPIN, and McTayo for collusion in attempting to bring down the fairness of the clan system and smear it with their despicable tactics then give this post a thumbs up.

Hopefully someone in authority will get the message loud and clear !!!

the author of this thread is mistaken when he says that robbie, mcytayto and vespen are destroying the clan system
they are only exploiting weaknesses in the system which will eventually lead to a stronger and fairer clan system

not an admission since I can't read the minds of those mentioned
exploitation has been a tool used by most clan leaders which led to some needed changes
and I expect more to come
sandbagging, which metallica is king, is an issue that needs some changing

You have been either missing the point all along or you refuse to
take your head out of the sands of your obsession with Metallica.

The issue is NOT about sandbagging !!
It is about 4 clans getting together to set up a bunch of challenges
designed to create points for one of the 4 clans.
That is collusion !!

You and your cohorts have always been whining about sandbagging by Metallica members.
You have been levelling these accusations at our clan for years.
This is nothing new. Telling us we sound like broken records ??
In fact it is you guys that have been sounding like broken records.

We have survived your false accusations and mudslinging without even trying hard.
And we as a clan have performed well as our past record shows.

And we don 't whine if we don't win. We could well finish behind Wycombe this year.
And we won't whine about that !!

You guys on the other hand resorted back to your old habits in the forum.
Trying to fling mud at us while Robbie's clan sticks out in the clan table like a sore thumb.
Because of the fiasco that was perpetrated between the 4 clans.
A fiasco that needs to be stopped.

2016 may have been the year that Metallica was to be dethroned.
But 4 clans have ruined that party if site admin doesn't do anything about it.

On a final note, I would like to thank Radioactive69 for starting this thread
and starting an informal poll on what the site readership thinks about these developments.

Here's the anomaly in a nutshell. Last summer the two clans who were blatantly doing this very thing, "University of Chess For Fun" and Strategic Ultimatum were closed down. Then along came Easy Riders, whose leader hero-worships Vespin, and the aptly and descriptively named Breaking Bad etc who are all explicitly colluding in exactly the same way, and they're not banned.

I never played either of those clans and know next to nothing about them. It is true that Vespers is a folk hero! He took on the Metalipirates at their own game and was ruthlessly cut down while on the pinnacle of success but not before we had seen the beginnings of a glorious revolution against the Metallica tyranny. Once that they had managed to silence the great and illustrious Vespers I vowed to take up the cause and to fight their tyranny so I formed the Easy Riders. Vespin might be gone but I saw him in a vision, up there beside John Brown and his soul was marching on! Let us sing together Old John Browns body in his honour.
