Russ, I have posted to site ideas a clan challenge 313054 which is currently still in preview.
Both I and the opposing clan leader are seeing a "start" button.

The start button for both of you is "as designed", so please proceed to begin the challenge, and others, as normal. I'm now interested in if you can reproduce the issue through normal usage.

Thanks, It appears my opponent clan leader has already started the challenge.

I have a question......what if 2 opposing clan leaders happen to start the challenge at the same time ?
Since they can both see the start button, it is a possibility, remote as it is.
And as you have said, this is a rare occurrence.

This should not be possible - one person will be locked out until the challenge creation has completed. This is enforced even further as from yesterday (on the beta).

If it happens again, I will start logging any "challenge start" actions, so I have some more data on what is occurring.

That seems to contradict the observation of both clan leaders being able to see the start button.
I am referring to the one clan leader being locked out.
Or am I missing something ?
