Obama himself said, “…that after three years, if the economy wasn’t fixed he should be a one-term president.”

Unless the economy improves I don't see Obama getting a second term. He has made too many statements that can be used against him.

Although it's true he might lose, I think he might win.

It's a bit early for this, let's revisit it in about 14 months.

    my odds:

Against Romney, bad economy: Romney 3:2 favorite
Against Romney, improving economy: Obama 2:1 favorite

    Against Perry, bad economy: 1:1
Against Perry, improving economy: Obama 5:2 favorite

Against Bachmann, bad economy: Obama 3:2 favorite
Against Bachmann, improving economy: Obama 4:1 favorite

    I'ts premature to handicap others.

Why did you leave out Ron Paul and include Michelle Bachman?
Ron Paul leads Bachman 13% to 10% in the latest Gallop poll.

I couldn't find that exact quote, and it can't quoting him because it says "he". I find "If I don't have this done in three years, then there's going to be a one-term proposition."

    video:

I interpret that as meaning he admits there will be another Democrat considering running for president.

Depends on whom his opponent is. Perry is imploding fast, so maybe Romney has a chance. The problem with Romney is that he has to run against his own trophy health care plan.

Who is this Ron Paul you speak of? If I remeber, the last GOP debate they had the name Ron Paul written below one of the candidates but they muffled his voice so I could not understand him and blurred out his picture as if he were on hit police show COPS.

The non-American debaters who seem to be conspicuously disappearing from this forum ought to look upon the sheer universality of the insight and punditry here and gird their global loins.

Would you believe me if I said it was to tweak you.

Look, MB, I understand your point about Paul and the media ignoring him, etc. etc. But as a fairly astute political observer of this country for a couple of decades I still can't fathom that a one-trick reactionary like Paul could win the nomination. If I'm wrong, so be it. But I cannot take his election chances seriously yet.

This must be a sign from god for Michelle Bachman to suck my willy.
Do you really think she has a chance of winning?

Well, those are two definite possibilities. Can you think of a third?

It wasn't so long ago, when whodey was buzzed on his usual speedball of blithering blogspot boggle points, that Obama cancelling the 2012 election was being predicted. That'd be a "third" one.
